Whether you're in a successful relationship, or single, there is a point when you come to the realization that YOU  define what love is...for YOU.  It's up to you to set the standard for how you want someone to love you. So what is it? Is it everything you ever thought it would be? What lesson did finding love or losing love teach you?  So many of us struggle with this fairytale concept when the actuality is, everyone loves differently and everyone needs to be loved in a different way. So PREACH!!!!...Whether you knew it all along or got hit in the head recently with an epiphany, what's something that you learned from LOVE???

The Single Life

Learning to embrace it is a bitter sweet feeling. At one point, you're happy to be free and love the rush of being able to do whatever you desire. You discover that having no ring on your finger brings the freedom to do just about whatever with whoever.... whenever you like. It's exhilarating and exciting, yet something just doesn't seem right. What do you do about that other feeling that accompanies being......

So, you search for an in between place , beyond dating, close to a relationship but not quite because labels seem to complicate life... and you'd rather live in the moment. A moment that becomes consumed with getting back to doing what makes you happy easily neglecting another. Then just like that as you sit in your world alone, you begin to wonder if there's such a thing as too much" ME " time. Then you start to wonder if maybe it is time after all....time for you get back out there and give up the.....

Somehow you decide to give up your selfishness and give selflessness a shot as giving up some "ME " time, means making time for him... for YOU. High standards succumb to the pressure of strong feelings as you look beyond what you want, and begin to see what you needed all along.
