Learning to embrace it is a bitter sweet feeling. At one point, you're happy to be free and love the rush of being able to do whatever you desire. You discover that having no ring on your finger brings the freedom to do just about whatever with whoever.... whenever you like. It's exhilarating and exciting, yet something just doesn't seem right. Somehow you decide to give up your selfishness and give selflessness a shot as giving up some "ME " time, means making time for him... for YOU. High standards succumb to the pressure of strong feelings as you look beyond what you want, and begin to see what you needed all along.
